David Graeber, at the 2002 anti-G8 demo in Ottawa, discusses the difficulty of ‘thinking outside the dollar’ (i.e. outside of the assumed framework of capitalist exchange) through the trope of Xena, Warrior Princess. He does not, however, make the annoying noise or execute any battle moves.
